The idea for When Pencil Met Eraser stemmed from watching my daughter, an artist, use separate pencils and erasers for her sketches. I thought it would be fun to learn the "true story" behind how pencils and erasers became connected. The book was published in 2019 by Imprint/Macmillan, and won Parents’ Magazine “Best Children’s Book of 2019” and a 2020 ILA/CBC Childrens’ Choice selection.  The sequel, When Pencil Met the Markers, is scheduled for release July 2020.
